Managing Director - Paul L Clark

Paul trained as an apprentice tool & die maker with the view to becoming a gunsmith. However, because of the poor income in this field, he decided not to go into this industry.  Instead, he travelled extensively overseas. On his return to New Zealand he spent four years with the Forest Service as a professional wild animal control hunter, then went into sales, to gain experience in this field before setting up his own business, (New Zealand Ammunition Co Ltd), in 1983.  Paul continues to be a keen hunter and was an Executive Member of the New Zealand Deerstalker’s Association.

Paul is a Foundation Member of ‘COLFO’ (The New Zealand Council of Licensed Firearm’s Owners’) - a group set up to represent the collective interests of New Zealand firearms owners in maintaining a sensible balance of safeguards for the community while ensuring the responsible use of licensed firearms.

Director / Administrator - Jenny Clark

Jenny was brought up on a farm. She enjoys the outdoors and frequently goes on hunting trips with Paul, shooting small game - rabbits, possums and deer. Jenny has her A. E, & D class Firearms licenses, but considers that she is best dealing with administration and accounts.

Commercial North Island & Govt Sales - Craig Bamber

Craig was born in Wanganui and has two grown up children.

In 1977, Craig broke the World Underwater (wetsuit) endurance record, with another diver, with a time of 126 hours 28 minutes, in 1977. This record still stands. He followed this with 4½ years in the USA working in the livestock industry in Texas, finishing up as the Manager of the Charley Thomas Brahman and Quarter Horse Stud. On his return to NZ, Craig worked for a number of years on the family farm before joining an ammunition manufacturer as production manager.  During this time he developed a patented recoil amplifier for the .50 M2QCB. This patented system is in service with the NZ Navy. Two other patents are in Craig’s name, one for the RRT .50 bullet and another for a cartridge discriminator for the .50 BMG M2.

Craig developed the Sperm whale Euthanasia device for the Dept of Conservation.  This devise uses the 14.5x115 cartridge but with the specially designed bullet with reduced yaw for shooting at very close ranges. Craig has represented NZ at the IWC.

Craig has a strong grounding in .50 ammunition research. He produced the comprehensive reference for all tip codes found on .50 cartridges.
